Let's Get Acquainted
Hey everyone! I'm excited for you to be a part of this journey with me!
My three passions in life are writing, music and medicine. I fell in love with writing at an early and found that it was the best way to express myself. I have hundreds and hundreds of poems and little journals in storage from writing as a kid. I can't even tell you how many notebooks i've had just in the past year. As an adolescent, I just KNEW I was going to minor in journalism. Well that didn't go as planned, but I still wrote. About anything and everything. Fantasy, life, where I wanted to go, who I wanted to be, who I was in love with and so on.
Though I love writing, I know blogging is slightly different, but I wanted to find another creative way to express myself and give back to my community. For whatever unfounded reason, friends, family, coworkers and even strangers have felt confident and comfortable enough to talk to me about the most simplest events in their lives to the most brutal. That being said, I want to create a safe space for people to talk, even if it's anonymous.
